Some bad managers... It can be highly variable, and experiences at NAB will vary markedly according to the manager ("people leader") that you have in any given part of the bank

I worked at National Australia Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities They will invest in you if you can bring a good business case Fantastic work life balance Very proactive team

    Cons

Heaps of politics - especially as restructures happen more often than not due to cost cutting Pay is not as good as competitors

    Advice to Management

Look after your staff Pay inline with the market and they will stay even longer Try and dispense with the politics and the restructures where management already knows who is getting what position - make it fair or call it what it is "a clean house"
