Pros

Everyone shares the same passion - to help missing and exploited children. People are passionate about their jobs. The management is supportive and encouraging. They are loyal to their employees. The new CEO, John Ryan, has done an amazing job bringing up the moral and he continues to an excellent job.

Cons

There are some politics at NCMEC, but you get that any where you work.

I have been working at National Center for Missing & Exploited Children full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The staff is passionate about the mission of the organization. They come from all over the country to specifically take a position with NCMEC. Most of senior management have been there for many years.

    Cons

The organization is a bit secretive and exclusive. It appears that they can do this as a private agency operating with public and private funding.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Senior management would benefit from accepting outside perspectives rather than making their own rules and expecting the world to live by their rules. It would help to train staff to work independently and to promote a truly harmonious work environment.

    Neutral Outlook
