I worked at National College full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The people I worked with on a daily basis were, in general, great. They worked hard and believed in what they were doing. As long as upper management left me alone to do my job, I was fine.

    Cons

Fabulously underpaid. They treated staff like we were all incompetent and that we essentially didn't really want to do our job, and, thus, micromanaged.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You get what you pay for. Or, if you're lucky, you might get one or two people who care about what they do despite the low pay. Listen to the advice you shove down your staff's throat: put students and education first. Too many decisions are based on money and numbers.
