I have been working at National Federation of Independent Business full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pros? You won't find a pro anywhere in this company. You have a better chance of success selling snake oil.

    Cons

Have to pay your own travel and gas expenses.
Limited territory, they basically tell you where to prospect with a D&B list.
    No salary.
Managers know less than you do regarding selling/outside sales.
Have to learn a stupid script to start.
Tough sell as only dumb rednecks buy into their we hate Democrats program.
    Very shady sales techniques.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give up now, you're scamming small business owners out of their hard earned money.

Grueling job with very little respect from management.

Former Employee - Field Sales Representative in Kalamazoo, MI

I worked at National Federation of Independent Business

    Pros

They are nationally known and on TV a lot.

    Cons

Management that has no respect for the sales people in the field. The direct supervisors are more concerned about keeping their jobs, than their sales people. Sales people get little respect, and have to go in 50 doors a day and get maybe one sale a day to make $40. If you like your supervisor to scream at you, work here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The problem is management. From the VP at the top all the way down to the sales managers. They are more worried about pocketbook, than doing things right and treating reps with respect.

    No opinion of CEO
