I worked at National Grid USA full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Benefits were good. Software training was good for the most part - lots of software programs to learn and remember

Cons

Changed software programs to do same things frequently.
Supervisors didn't listen for or to feedback from subordinates. If there was a problem, it wasn't dealt with until a deadline was passed or too late to get help needed,

    Pros

    Its a typical government type job where you get authority to do proposal appraisals, at least for my role, and work is not very challenging to learn

    Cons

    There is nothing much as such but just to mention I can say that loads of work is given immediately after joining
