Pros

Great people to work with. There is a high parental involvement , so the kids are usually great to work with.

Cons

Substitute teaching can cause strain on kids who do not like change and so they act out. Some discipline problems can be taxing.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would suggest a gifted program.

    Charter school provides some freedom and flexibility in curriculum and teaching methods
    Fellow teachers are willing to provide help and support for new and less experience teachers

    Institute an innovative culture that includes a systems theory approach to solving strategic problems. Institute a collaborative and collegial style leadership that is congruent with a learning organization that adapts well to local educational markets.

    Pros

    Some of the best reasons include the new innovative approach to classroom learning. When one thing is not bringing the test score results then Supervisors are more than willing to try another learning style. Another observation is the indivdualism of classroom management for the educator. Educator's appear to be encouraged to try new styles of learning within the guidelines and circulum.

    Cons

    The benefits of Medical and dental only apply to fulltime employees and I believe there is no tenuring into the company. Parapro's posistions are only contigent upon title one funding.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Perhaps to cut some of the paperwork and tracking some the teacher is able to concentrate on more of the classroom.
