Great work environment

Field Sales Engineer (Former Employee)
Chicago, IL

I worked at National Instruments full-time for more than 5 years

ProsEveryone very nice and helpful, great work environment, very relaxed and low stress. Can get very good experience early in your career. Hires a lot of smart people. Safe work environment, never had a layoff, even during downturn. Benefits are good.

ConsCareer advancements can be tough although this is likely true at most large companies. Many people start their career here and leave to go back to business school. Salary is usually lower than peers.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
