    I have been working at National Instruments full-time for more than 10 years


    Pros: Many opportunities for engineers - software, hardware, etc... Management encourages changes roles to find the right fit. NI hires talented engineers, so you rarely work… Cons: Salary can be low compared to competition... but make sure you look at cost of living when comparing - Austin is a fairly inexpensive place… Advice to Senior Management: Focus on making top-level processes match an agile development process… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

    NI's R&D is a good and reliable place to develop knowledge, skills and experience, but it develops people very slowly.
