Great Place to work!

Senior Software Engineer (Current Employee)
Austin, TX

I have been working at National Instruments full-time for more than 10 years

Pros- Great atmosphere.
- Work/Life balanced well
- Encouraged to innovate.
- Great benefits
- On-site Doctor's office

Cons- Salary tends to be low when compared to similar positions on glassdoor
- While we used to do frequent group outings/team building activities, those have gone by the wayside (in my group at least).

Advice to Senior Management- Pay your employees more!
- Reward them more.
- Add on-site daycare to benefits. Your employees are getting older and starting families.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
