Pros

A good work pace and not too many stressful days. The production staff is fairly nice and are sometimes willing to help you if need.

Cons

Lack of promotion for people within. Pay is very low for some levels while others make a comfortable wage. Not everyone is treated fairly by managers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look closely at your hard working staff. You can find many, many loyal workers who can contribute greatly, if only given the chance.

    Pros

Several good, long-term customers, that don't mind overpaying for simple CAD services.
Hard working production staffs willing to put in long hours when needed.
Generally nice, helpful working people in the trenches.

    Cons

Poor pay rates, no promotions, rasies or even recognition of individual success.
Only senior management staff get bonus's - for poor performance, especailly in Sales & Finance.
Always looking to find fault and access blame for even the smallest error. Back stabbing and finger pointing is a way of life. The Production Director and VP - level managers are clueless about manufacting, technology, real customer service and production effeciency. No experience in anything except 25 year old CAD business! All advancement based on the "Good 'ole Boy" and "yes man" way of doing business of the 1950'-'60's. There's no way they can stay in business 3 more years with the continuing poor sales results and deep lack of good business skills they currently have in place. Stay Away.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Close Boston, Close San Francisco, consolidate NJ into one site.
Get a Sales Leader that can build the digital business, with a sales manager in each site that KNOWS the digital printing business - not just your old Blueprint and CAD stuff.
Get new VP Sales; Operaions; Technology and HR before its too late. What have they done for NRI the past 36 months??????

    Pros

Friendly and steady managed professional work environment. Emphasis on training and total quality management. Good chain of command and efficient hierarchy. Promotion from within. OK benefit package. Attention to details, neat and clean environment. The company cares about its employee's well being. EEOC laws strictly enforced.

    Cons

Can be a boring job with a lot of stress, low pay and advancement for the chosen few. 5-10-15 cent raises once a year! Over-managed and cliquish. watch out for your typical office favorites and back stabbers.Total quality management has no pay off for you. Very very stingy and union hating. You'll need a second job to survive. Dinosaurs and yes men rule upper management. Upstairs down stairs mentality- ethnic and minority distinctions are very noticeable. Very paternalistic. The fake friendly family environment makes everyone feel like part of the team. Go Team! Drink the Kool-aid and everything will be fine!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your little people more. All the talk about innovation and zero defects is a croc with out a cash incentive. Put you money where your mouth is. You seem to be very out of touch with the economic realities facing your lowest paid workers.
