    I have been working at National University of Singapore full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Full-time research student, no obligation for teaching and can thus concentrate on research work. No associated bond. Among increases to 2500SGD after passing qualifying exam.

    Cons

    Not considered as employee and no bonus and other benefits. Funding for overseas conference is limited.
