Could be required to work over time.

Research Fellow (Former Employee) Singapore (Singapore)

ProsFoods are cheap, lots of canteens in the campus.

ConsSome assistant professors may push you very hard. Because getting tenure in NUS, especially in computing, is very difficult for the faculties in recent years. Some research fellows and phd students are pushed to work 12 hours per day for at least 6 days a week.

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease supervise those "demanding" assistant professors to ensure that they show sufficient respect to their research fellows and students. It is their own problems if they cannot get tenure.
