I worked at Nationwide full-time for more than a year

Pros

Good benefits.
Co-workers (Agents and Customer service) are great people.

Cons

Lowered starting salary
constantly going through agents
a LOT of cancellation and THI (nonstandard leads)
Revised bonus structure 3 times in 1 year, never in agents favor
Poor leadership managers are hit or miss
Poor communication throughout entire agency

Learn how to manage and stop chatting it up with retention.

    Overall pay was average and benefits were decent for the current industry norms.

    Cons

    Very political, as someone else said.... not what you know but who you know. many promotional jobs filled by friends of friends.

    You need to listen to the front line employees, and act on the feedback.not just promise change and never deliver.
