Former Employee – worked at Nationwide full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Like a family, work hard & you will find lots of support
Cons – Benefits need to change - contract with Caremark re: prescription drug coverage is not good!
Advice to Senior Management – Senior management in Columbus, OH needs to listen to the workers out in the field more. Your field employees (for the most part) are intelligent, have your back and know what they are talking about. They have good ideas and want to see the company succeed. Allow them to share their knowledge of how things work in the field and how they can improve and USE that "insider info" and you will be able to do amazing things! The only reason I left Nationwide is for family. Otherwise, I would still be working there - as long as they'll have me! Maybe one day our paths will cross again! ;)
