Everyone who has worked here says it's a bad company

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSummer hours/activity. Great location, very smart colleagues

Cons- Management makes employees feel lucky to be employed.
- Decisions that affect employee(s) are made without any formal communication.
- Serious lack of trust between senior management and employees.
- People are frequently laid off with no explanation nor communication until the very moment employee is laid off.
- Feels like your manager keeps secrets from you
- HR protects their relationships with certain managers and cares less about resolving issues brought to their attention.
- Managers show favoritism when it comes to performance evaluations and promotions

Advice to Senior ManagementWhere do I start...Navigant is a great company, that could see productivity increased if employees felt appreciated.

My advice to management...CHANGE!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Good Clients, Bad Culture

    Associate Director (Current Employee)
    Chicago, IL

I have been working at Navigant Consulting full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Interesting, innovative work on the cutting edge of health care… Cons: Silo/ turf mentality between the various business units forces us to have to… Advice to Senior Management: Smart, happy, engaged employees are the key to success in consulting, but the Navigant culture does not promote that. No raises were given this… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
