Pros

Good benefits, new HQ, gym facilities is great, cafeteria is affordable and has great food.

Cons

More male pre-dominant given the nature of the company. Culture is old-fashioned and slow to change.

    I have been working at Navistar full-time

    Pros

    Great facility, the training programs, especially in finance, are excellent,the fitness center is better than some health clubs, the cafeteria is the best I've seen anywhere.

    Cons

    Financially, the company just isn't doing well in 2012, and that impacts the morale. the work environment, and eventually will impact the staffing levels. In short, because of the transition the company is going through, you can expect few opportunities for advancement or even raises/bonuses in the near term. Long-term, this should get better, so it's going to depend on what your. horizon is.

    I have been working at Navistar full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Performers are rewarded with generous pay, promotions and one time bonuses. Company does not micromanage your days off but the expectation is that you deliver.

    Cons

    Senior level (director and above) have difficulty agreeing to the common goal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Need to conduct town halls that provide transparency about the state of the business. Otherwise, the masses will feel like everything is fine.
