A great organisation where you serve troops serving in difficult circumstances - led by poor directors.

Pros

Self fulfilment - devlop a 'can-do' attitude
Possible with commitment to progress as far as you want to go
Opportunity to visit parts of the world that are not usually on anyones to-do list

Cons

Very poor at listening to staff - pretend to do employee surveys and when they say it as it is scrap the process
Every Operating Board Member thinks they have to rubbish whatever their predecessor did - and promise they'll improve things (which they rarely do)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop thinking that you are the greatest gift to management and listen to the staff at all levels.
Also stop the witch hunts - where you get rid of experience because it doesn't agree with you or your methods
