    Pros

    Nice people
    Clean environment
    Relaxed (depending on position)

    Cons

    No overtime
    Lack of growth
    Insensitive management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Just work on communication with employees. Those above seem to disregard those below. Concerns should be addressed beyond the ears.

    I worked at Neiman Marcus full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great portfolio work. Looks great on a resume but very stressful environment.

    Cons

    Pumping out work day after day with little to no encouragement, inspiration, time, breaks or rewards. Work many late hours. Management has is very poor at art directing their vision, thus creating multiple redo's and redirection until down to the wire, leading up to very long stressful hours spent on the job. No outside life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Care about the employee. Give the designers time, resources and outside inspiration to be the creative people they are. Make this a enjoyable place to work not just a place that looks good on paper.
