Pros

You're helping take care of childrens' health regardless of their financial need. Most of the clinicians are excellent. They are good about allowing flex time.

Cons

The pay is typical for a non-profit , meaning not-so-good.

Advice to Management

The company is top-heavy with management. Your physicians are your lifeline- treat them well.

    Pros

Smartest, most passionate people I have ever worked among.

    Cons

Being new, we still have much to overcome and learn!

    Advice to Management

Listen to what staff have to say, especially when trying to escalate. Do not rush to judgement until you have validated your understanding; reacting prematurely causes the issue to be unresolved or perhaps worsen because it wasn't aptly addressed.

    Pros

Good salary but not great. Clean modern campus. Benefits are pretty good. Good education for rns and ems staff. Good equipment.

    Cons

Favoritism. Retaliation if you voice a problem. Very feminized culture. Lots of gossip. Extreme micromanagement. If you don't fit in the clique the force you out one way or another.

    Advice to Management

Useless to give any. They don't listen to the rank & file.
