Pros

It has a good name brands, Poland Springs and Deer Park.

Cons

The position is nothing more than a delivery sales person. It is simple operational position, which is a routine position. It does not challenge any strategic thought at anytime which would hamper your growth as a leader.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the branches, this has become a commodity business. This is due to poor pricing strategies that have been done in retail.
The best days are behind them.

    Pros

    good benefits and management is very competent. The salary is fair for the type of physical work you perform. A very stable company (parent). Great backing from Nestle.

    Cons

    You are a high pressure salesperson. Delivering water is the tip of the iceberg. You will be pressured to sell many side products. Dont make the high quotas, dont expect to be there for long. Your expectations are to be perfect. Miscount your truck in 3 times in a month (of 40 tries) and they consider that sloppy and you will be watched and spoken with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Take the pressure off the route salespeople and hire more sales to grow the business. Quit expecting employees to be perfect. Because you expect far too much, employees do the wrong thing and leave product (I know it happens). Expect high turnover if you don't reverse your crazy quotas on route people.

    Solid company with a great product I still purchase and believe in. They havemade great strides to protect the environment with slim bottles and using less plastic.

    Cons

    While they show a focus and concern for the environment, the bottom line is their focus on making money and big profits. Their leadership is focused on themselves

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve your mid-level and senior field leadership. Ensure your leaders are focused on leading their teams and not on making it to the next level.
