I have been working at NetApp full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

NetApp is a large company, but has the culture of a smaller company. Very open, direct, and not a lot of politics going on. There's a reason NetApp is rated as one of the best companies to work for year after year.

Cons

It can be difficult to promote depending on which business unit you're working within. Some promote faster, some much, much slower.

I have been working at NetApp as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Nice cafeterias; bright, successful people. Plenty of space for meeting rooms, and the building is full of the latest technology.

    Cons

Cubicles and not much natural lighting in the buildings. The prices in the cafeteria are a little on the expensive side.

I have been working at NetApp as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    1) Great work environment
    2) People are open to meet and share thoughts. It makes it easy to network within the company for future opportunities
    3) As internship, I got to work on real project and not a dummy project to engage someone

    Cons

    1) NetApp as a firm is growing fast and might be difficult to maintain the open culture in next few years. People are already dissatisfied
    2) Leadership says that being ready for change is their core value but they don't want to change some key features to prosper in business

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to bring old people back in organization to maintain a culture and rethink about the org changes suggested a year back. It should happen
