NetApp – “Great company that needs new laptops.”

Pros

- Great pay. Even the summer interns make more annually than most starting engineers in the Valley.
- Good food in the cafeteria. Very expensive and high quality but very cheap (2-9 dollars).
- Awesome HR staff.
- Beer bashes!
- Great benefit plan.
- Paid time off for volunteer work.

Cons

- Antiquated equipment. Some of the laptops they give out are T40-T42 series, which aren't exactly the best machines to develop on.
- Beer bashes are something like monthly now.
- Public still doesn't know enough about NetApp. It may be one of the best companies to work for, but having to explain who you work for to non-techies is annoying.

Advice to Senior Management

Update your IT infrastructure and go for the neck.
