Pros
Work life balances very well. Most employees are pretty friendly and out going. Most manager will allow sick days to go unreported especially for top producers or brown nosers. There are free snack and drinks which a huge plus.
Cons
Upper management is not interested in promoting, advancing or recognizing employees and so it trickles down to middle management. Request for training is usually rejected and non-existing in some cases. Most manager perfer to "squeeze" emplyees into quiting before firing them. There is also very little communication as far as how employees are doing, what they need to improve and what is expected.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay more attention to employee needs and provide some direction. Showing financial numbers during a company meeting is great but there needs to be more input about the future of the company in reference to competitors who are bigger players in the market.
