Pros

It's a small, tight-knit company with good intentions.

Cons

There's lots of gossiping at all levels of the company. There's a lack of process to streamline and empower employees & customers.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leads have a very short self-life. So immediacy of delivery to the customer is not a nice to have, but a necessity for success. So batching up leads and sending later is not an option. Leads should be delivered real-time and ensuring that the customer also has a process to make sure the leads are processed to the correct recipient quickly should be part of the on-boarding of the client. This way you help the customer make the most of the leads and get a good ROI. In turn, you'll get that customer's loyalty.

    I worked at NetLine

    Pros

    - Many large clients
    - Room to grow, but you have to push for it yourself
    - Casual work environment
    - Flexible hours
    - Modern health/dental/vision benefits
    - Weekly fruit / Monthly happy hour

    Cons

    - Little innovation, old backend
    - Lower than average pay
    - Very limited (practically no) telecommute options
    - Monthly forced PTO (could be a pro)
    - Few holidays (week off Christmas to NYE is good)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    It is getting better, but a lot of the recent changes should have been done much sooner (SEO, site redesign, mobile). Aim for where things are going, not where they are now.

    I worked at NetLine full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Werner Mansfeld (President) is a great thinker and leader. Was always open to exploring new ideas.

    Cons

    Marketing services and lead gen in particular is a tough and fickle industry. One day your customers love you and the next they hate you. Can be perceived as a commodity, so there is price sensitivity to deal with from a sales perspective.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep and reward good people. If something is working don't break it.
