Tough environment for the rank and file

I have been working at New York ISO

Proshealthy paychecks, generous benefits, modern clean building, free parking, bored only if you want to be, better than civil service

ConsHigh stress environment. Company goals set by the board of directors at the beginning of the year drive all business decisions during the year. Culture encourages managing up.

Advice to Senior ManagementCultivate leadership in the management ranks. The board of directors should let management manage the company. Executives should spend some time with the rank and file.
