Great company but commission only plus TAS is not enough to survive on.

I have been working at New York Life

    Pros

    Flexibility
    Great Training Program
    Clear Sales goals
    Positive team

    Cons

    No salary
You pay for all of your own expenses. ( Advertising, office, parking, their technology, everything)
Management gives a false sense of what your compensations will be in your first 3 years.
You need to have a financial reserve to get you through the tough months.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay a base salary and cover some associate expenses.
