Pros – strong allotment of vacation time even for inexperienced staff
work life balance oriented

Cons – opportunities are limited for non actuarial staff
compensation is low
tendency to be pigeon holed into roles

Advice to Senior Management – 80/20 rule is more like 90/10 in most departments. look to give opportunity to talented non actuaries
