Current Employee – been working at New York Life part-time for more than a year

Pros – People are upbeat and positive, friendly
Great reputation

Cons – No clear path to hire. Contracts are confusing and seem to contradict verbal explanations. Training seems comprehensive, but no clear process in place. No salary at all provided - it's all commission and can take months to kick in, especially since product training is ad hoc.

Advice to Senior Management – Provide some 'how to' material for new hires that explains the steps clearly. The career training manual is very useful but doesn't really provide a clear idea of what is expected or how it fits into the grand scheme of things.
