I worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

you are well compensated for what you do. they are will spend what it takes to get you in the door. vacation time is also generous.

Cons

You will get very little support from middle mgt. You will need to CYA at all time. They will always ask what have you done lately. They do not provide growth. Senior mgt and very territorial.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Great place to grow and move up. Reputable company to work for. Great benefits. Friendly environment depending on the department you work for.

    Cons

Salary could be better. Raises are not the greatest. Sometimes hard work can go unnoticed. Favoritism seems to be an issue.

I have been working at New York Presbyterian Hospital full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. A lot of exposure to illnesses/ surgeries that you would not see in other hospital settings.

    Cons

Bad morale. Everyone only out for themselves. New staff thrown into situations without proper training. Upper management is not aware of the problems going on below them. Good workers work hard, bad workers reap the benefits without having to work as hard or at all. At best- organized chaos.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on employee satisfaction such as making sure we have necessary equipment and staff. Get rid of staff that does not do their job

    No opinion of CEO
