Pros

Benefits & (some) perks. etc etc etc

Cons

I have mixed feelings about my views as an employee. Like many other big american corporations this is a place to grow in many aspects (including a big thick skin!). Too many layers to navigate through. Being part of the union presents some pros & cons as well. They do their part and do it fairly well. As a member though it is not so much about your own contribution as it is about strength in affiliates number. In some higher hierarchy positions it is a highly competitive, fast-paced work environment so be ready for the rat-race. After all it is corporate America.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Under-staffing needs to be addressed in many patient care areas.

Upper management is very closed and politics abound

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Besides "Putting Patients First" try not being a good-ole boys (and girls) club, your hospital depends on more than spoiled high profile docs...
