Pros

Desperate to hire. They will hire you quickly, because they do not reveal the truth about employment with them.

Cons

Corporate management is lost, as is District Management. Policies change each day. They treat employees badly, as they have the mentality that they can hire a new body for anyone willing to leave. Overwork employees. Mandatory 12 hour days two, sometimes three, times per month...in addition to your 40 hour week, with no overtime. A violation of multiple labor laws. The corporate office doesn't follow their own policies. It is based on what best suits them. They have been successfully sued by multiple employees for wrongful termination and harassment. Executive management has resigned and company looks to be vulnerable to a hostile takeover very soon. I would not wish working for this company onto my worst enemy. Hell would be a first class upgrade.

Advice to Management

Hire Executives and District management that values your employees and supports the Club level managers. Listen to in club staff regarding promotions and member needs. Observe NY and Federal Labor Laws.

    Pros

You're working with people every day. changing lives through fitness. It's great to see people get excited over the changes in their bodies. Hire develop and train new employees so you have control over your staff. The chance to make extra money by teaching classes and personal training and bonusing.

    Cons

You work 45 hours a week. If you're personal training or teaching classes add to that. And it's a sales job, so you may need to stay extra depending on the state of your business. No work life balance. Because it's very sales oriented atmosphere "the needs of your business" are long hours.

    Advice to Management

Work Life Balance is part of the "Values" of the company....I think you forgot that.
