    Pros

For all of two weeks you are a star in the company and great things is expected of you.

    Cons

Absolutely no respect for their employees... no empowerment, stealing people Paid Time Off (PTO) without notice, always in crisis management mode, do not hold to their promises, keep moving you from club to club- taking your bonus money because either you have switched positions or clubs, No support from HR... Fire employees without notice... two mandatory 12 hour work days with no pay... Personal Trainers Prospect with no pay... and then terminated for failing to hit quota... everyone is under some form of investigation... want to call you when you're off work... cut membership sign up fees in half

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sorry but there's no leadership... How can their be leadership when no one is following? Or even happy to follow? How could you turn a blind eye and not support some of the most loyal employees you had in the company? Why did so many of your good previous leaders leave? How come when good leaders do leave you do not at least acknowledge their departure or allow that leader to speak with the teams themselves?

The experience would have been fine, if the pay wasn't so Horrible

    Pros

While working there I had the privileged of having a nice manager. The environment was relaxed and I got along with all the employees. If you're OK making $7.50/hr then this could be for you

    Cons

What made me hate working at NYSC was most of all the pay. Other than the pay didn't like the busy work I would have no problem doing busy work if I was getting paid properly but that wasn't the case. Examples of the busy are: cleaning the machines, even if they've already been cleaned/putting away the weights constantly/organizing the weights/looking for things to do to look busy; i almost went crazy working there. I'm use to working for $25/hr but i wanted a consistent job instead of gigs, so I would have to work 3hrs just to get $25. Dumbest thing I did was to work there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees a decent rate
