Nice people, good work/life balance

ProsNice people, good work life balance, interesting work.

ConsToo much process & red tape. Lacking innovation and fast movers. Stale brand - perhaps with the recent acquisition - things will improve. Management is lazy.

Advice to Senior ManagementEliminate the red tape/process.

    It's a good place to do good journalism work, but not family-friendly

    Pros: The NYT may be the best place to work if you want to focus on doing the best journalism… Cons: Their benefits for people with families are lame. For example, slim maternity leave, not a day of paid paternity leave,… Advice to Senior Management: Don't be stingy with your employees.
