Great mentor

Pros

Went there to talk to a possible mentor and found out a lot of info. Very supportive environment but can get hectic at times. It is a hospital.

Cons

Loved it. I can't say that I have anything against the place. The people I interacted with were professional and courteous.

I have been working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy training for the job, decent pay at $26.29/hr

    Cons

No job advancement or salary raises. Co-workers are terrible, ie, they are envious or hateful for no reason except that you're new; they start trouble by blaming you for breaking the machine or releasing a lab result without checking for potential errors. so immediately they go straight to the supervisor or director without telling you what had happen and you get pull into the office for questioning. supervisors are even worse because of favoritism and their general stupidity for not knowing how things work but get hired because they have experience in work years regardless of the type of work they did. and for managers, they need to go to b-school and get some training.

    Advice to Management

Go to Business school and learn how to manage efficiently or hire someone who actually had experience and performed well
