Former Employee – worked at Newsweek Daily Beast

Pros – Laid back environment.
A lot of young employees.
Benefits are good, including paid time off.

Cons – Never received a performance review (in 2 1/2 years).
With so many changes happening that seemed to contradict each other, it seemed we were in a constant state of confusion.
Management didn't seem to care about the low morale.
With no communication from management about the state of the company and future plans, bad rumors seemed to run amok.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
