Pros

If youâ??re a high performance person and a good culture fit, this is a fantastic place to work. You'll have amazing opportunities to make a difference in a business. There is no micro-managing. You will be surrounded by smart, motivated, fun, and ambitious people. The company leadership is not afraid to make bold decisions which has ensured the company success through this last economic downturn.

Cons

If youâ??re not a high performance person or you donâ??t fit the culture you wonâ??t last long. If you are not comfortable with changing priorities it wonâ??t be a good place for you.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to make bold decisions and innovate.

    Pros

Company holds each NxJumper to an extraordinarily high standard.
With each accomplishment, always pushed to reach even higher next time.
The trust the company places in its employees to achieve success, hence the responsibility it gives even junior level team members.
Expectation to work well independently. Very little micro-managing.
    Being surrounded by visionary colleagues.

    Cons

Little time for activities outside work. Not much work/life balance.
Not a welcoming place for all -- unpleasant if you are in the middle or bottom range of performers.
You will either love it or hate it. To succeed at NxJ, you must want to be an entrepreneur.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more deliberate and wait a little longer before assessing people's performance. Particularly with junior employees, need to do more "coaching" before leaving them to work independently.

I have been working at Next Jump

    Pros

pays very well. the gym is great plus free breakfast and snacks. colleagues are very smart and they make up a supportive working environment. but ultimately the best is, if you're a hard worker, your work gets recognized and you will be rewarded (both in growth opportunities and financial rewards).

    Cons

yes, the hours are long; be prepared to be constantly told by friends and family that "you're crazy" for working them. communication between teams and the projects/products they're working on can definitely be improved upon.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

continue to reward employees for their work; it's motivating. ensure that communication channels are transparent so everyone feels equally invested in the future of the company.
