Pros

NLG is a fantastic studio that makes great games. They treat their employees right, and it really shows in how happy everyone is to come to work everyday.

Cons

They are a smallish studio, and they keep it that way by hiring the "extra" people on contract. This also means no vacation, benefits or sick days for those on contract. It's hard to get fulltime work here, which is too bad.

    Pros

Good Management. Great mission statement and actually do pretty well putting it into practice. Good people. A real culture for sharing and growth.

    Cons

Independent developer - means that they need to getting contracts to keep the company floating... even if it means not-as-fun projects otherwise they gotta make people redundant.

    Advice to Management

Make your own IP and knock it out the park, don't get bought by a corp!
