Pros

A lot of good, hard working engineers. Senior management is executing on an ambitious growth strategy, is willing to take risks on innovation and invest in rearchitecting existing systems. HR listens and acts on employee suggestions, e.g. prettied up the office (even though we're moving to a new location shortly), rolled out a flexible work-from-home policy, opened up communication between employees and mgt. The company is stable and very profitable, with growth it could do well in an IPO.

Cons

The company is heavier on process than it should be for its size. IT is cautious and strict on policy.

Advice to Management

We need more engineers to get done what needs to be done.

    Pros

-People are friendly (although definitely on the quiet side).
-New CEO Jeff Katz is making great efforts to make it a better place to work.
-HR doing better job of planning team-building events.

    Cons

    -Management can be somewhat incompetent.
    -Building is terrible.
    -No trust.

    Advice to Management

-Move to a new office (think this is happening sometime soon).
-Start trusting employees, or there will never be a sense of community.
