Former Employee - Senior Recruitment Consultant in Newcastle upon Tyne, England (UK)

I worked at Nigel Frank International full-time (more than an year)

Pros

I've had a few jobs before I came to work at NFi and I can genuinely say that if you are motivated by career progression and money, you have a great opportunity here for both There's no such thing as a free meal ticket, but if you are prepared to give it time, put in the hard work, you have a great chance to do very well. Outstrips the opportunities I've had at any other company by a mile. Dont expect to earn a fortune like they say in your 1st year, but 2nd / 3rd years you should be outstripping your friends and family!

Cons

Long hours, sometimes over competitive, and there is nowhere to hide.
If you are a negative person, or not looking to work hard, it definitely not for you.

    Pros

Well paid and constant buzz in the London Office.

    Cons

They promise you heaven and give you hell. 60-70 hours a week, constant inside (telephone) sales. It is a very unethical company to work for and I would highly advice anyone whom considers NFI as their first job after University to RUN away!

    Pros

the staff at the junior consultant level are friendly enough, and there is an opportunity to make some money, just leave your moral compass at the door.

    Cons

The company policy is all about placing someone, getting the commission and then moving on. there is very little thought involved for the candidates or the clients, and never any thought given to the long term prospects of the parties.
