Pros

Connections to the food service industry.
Can become familiar with logistics of importing and exporting of food products.
Will hear many insider information on upcoming restaurants.

Cons

Have to work on the clients schedules, meaning work-life balance is not that great.
Management does not explain some decisions they make.
If you cannot speak Japanese, Chinese, or Korean, it will be very difficult.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not a place to work for more than a year. Working here until retirement is something you really don't want to do.

I have been working at Nishimoto Trading full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

You don't need good ability to get promoted. All you need is a good "LUCK" and be a real good flatterer.

    Cons

No motivation whatsoever. Drivers, sales, warehouse and office ladies all have 0 motivation. Management class doesn't know how to motivate their employees.
    No future vision.
The management class cares only about the sales amount of current month!!! Nothing more!!!
The sales amount will affect management class only, nothing much to the each sales!!!
The company doesn't have system to provide a good working environment.
The company has been sued several times for various reasons from employees and also from interviewees!! Search the internet for details!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think more and take better care of your employees. Hire high school graduates, not undergraduates!
