I worked at Nixon Peabody

Pros

they have some nice, modern offices if you work in boston or san francisco.

Cons

there is NO real communication from management. for instance, they do not warn you that there will be layoffs -- in fact, they will tell you that business is great and then you'll find out otherwise the day of (layoffs). although there is an associate's council, it lacks any real power with management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

go back to your roots as a great place to work and stop trying to compete with the white shoe firms. it doesn't work. no one is happy.

The specific group of people you work with; the staff and personnel are nice; pretty decent benefits; nice offices.

    Cons

Management at NP seems afraid to resolve issues with problem partners even when they know the problem partner is a problem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to staff and personnel and deal with problem partners more effectively. Continue to treat staff well.
