Working globally. Learning new cultures. The people that work at Nokia are amazing people. Friendly, and many have experience that can help a person grow and expand their knowledge in the telecommunications industry.
Cons
Constant downsizing and restructuring of organizations. Too many layoffs, creating over-worked employees. Nokia is slow to market with their products. They wait for the competition to launch a product, then copy that technology. Nokia is focused on the Finnish way of doing business. They seem uninterested in North America and the US based customers. They are more focused on European, Latin America and India. Where they make the most money on cheap phones.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't always delegate. Learn what your employees are doing to better Nokia. Think outside the box! Management needs to take more chances and launch more products that the customers want and ask for. Management should also remember, it is not always a good business decision to launch a product with known quality or software issues and wait for the customer to complain before fixing them.
More money should be focused on understanding the latest technology, rather than on marketing in random movies or buildings.
