I worked at Nokia full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Nice colleagues and good environment to learn things as company allows you to go on courses and when you feel stagnant in your role, company allows for internal transfer. (subjected to immediate superior's approval.)
Able to communicate to higher management if you have the guts to do it and they are very open to communicating as well.
    Able to work from home.

    Cons

Understand from other colleagues from different departments that they were not allowed to take on courses or transfer therefore your immediate superior is of key importance in your job prospects n how your life in Nokia will be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is important to stay as a challenger mindset, therefore it is important that the higher management to go to the ground to understand the facts instead of just listening to higher management's point of view as they might not be aware of all that is happening in the field,

I have been working at Nokia full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Nokia offers a multicultural environment where everybody is respected. In general there's a lot of teamwork, teams stuck together to achieve the best results.
Great opportunities to explore different areas in different roles.

    Cons

It's difficult to assimilate the company culture, but once you learn it and understand the way things and burocracy works, there's a huge opportunity to work in very different areas if you have the right attitude.
Everybody has an opinion but nobody wants to make the decisions. Takes a lot of time to get new things/ideas approved.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Minimize burocracy, get things approved faster, risk more.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
