I worked at Nokia full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Reasonable work-life balance at many office locations. Chill Finnish culture.

    Cons

Utter failure to compete with other smartphone manufacturers. Their focus was entirely on great supply chain management vs. user experience and smartphones. Perpetual layoffs. Some iffy salaries. Stock down 90% in 5 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should have gone Android instead of trying to "do something different" with Microsoft. You have conceded first place and second place to iOS and Android.

Life can be very stressful at this time because of numerous reorganizations and layoffs.
Future headcounts reductions in the near future is also expected.
    Glass ceiling
Senior management is out of touch unless you have a supervisor or line manager title.
