Pros

Good compensation and benefits, tough but fair management, sincere interest in employees. Good, helpful co-workers. Very fair managers.

Cons

You have to be downtown but it's probably better for the whole team. Managers can be tough but they are pretty fair so it's hardly a con. Highly technical work but this is only a con if you don't like challenges and learning.

    Pros

Can be a nice place to work. They hire a lot of really bright people. On par with google in that respect. The culture of the company is good. They higher ups try not to screw you at every turn. Everything seems European.

    Cons

Some managers are volatile. Seem good then they go off on tirade and screw people. Luckily neither of mine were.

Bonus is supposed to be 15%. Have not seen anything in the almost 2 years I have been here other than referral fees. No pay increase either. Just silence.
No training. No opportunity for advancement other than being in a shrinking group and getting ahead via attrition. (Less people so you can't do as well as your predecessor )

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on the basics. Make sure processes work for those folks not in Finland. Less all hands.

    Pros

Great autonomy, supportive and great work/life balance

    Cons

Management did not really understood the trends that is happening in the marketplace or did not want to hear them.

    Advice to Management

Too late now as the company is not a subsidiary of MS.
