Pros

1) Great brand to be associated with... strong affinity with the brand among employees
2) Agile company and quick decision making
3) 'Open Door' culture.... accessible senior management
4) Go-To-Market specialists... great execution team

Cons

1) Almost all the employees are from non-telecom background... mostly from FMCG industry
2) Very inward looking... arrogant when it comes to acknowledging competition
3) Totally cut off from the telecom industry and ecosystem
4) Although not shown on surface, but definitely hierarchical work culture
5) Identified the next direction and paradigm of growth (Services)... but unable to steer in the direction

Advice to Senior Management

1) Hire more people from the ICT industries and give them enough authority and leverage to grow the business.
2) Also, as industry leaders, you cannot afford to work in silo... need to engage more closely with the telecom industry and other value chain players.
