I worked at Nokia full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great culture, work life balance and people that value their employees & customers. Perks often include using or access to latest technology in smart phones, and often international contacts and travel.

    Cons

Career paths were often limited, pay & other benefits were not always as competitive as top tech companies

No appreciation, no reward for hard work.

    I worked at Nokia

    Pros

The culture, people, work life balance, and benefits are good.

    Cons

Encouragement of diversity, internal promotion, personal growth, Leadership and communication is sorely lacking. The company seems to be controlled by a Human Resources department which doesn't emit any humanity. Motivation is low and the worry of lay-off is constantly overhead.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your employees for success and reward those who work hard. "Bell curve" rewards are demotivators!

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
