Pros

There are plenty of ways in order to increase your earnings, in a way, you are your own boss. Opportunities for advancement are everywhere. You are introduced to a wide variety of brands which is great knowledge to have if you wish to go further in the Fashion Industry.

Cons

It can be a little competitive with sales; therefore, if you do not work well under pressure, sales at Nordstrom probably isn't the right job for you.

    Pros

Nordstrom is a company that cares about the overseas companies they work with. Nordstrom is a large company with solid sales and great growth.

    Cons

Senior level management seem out of touch with it's NPG employees. When an issue is raised to senior management, it tends to be viewed as complaining.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your NPG employees. They are experts in their job roles, what resources they need and how long it takes to get the job done and done right.

  2. Satisfying pay with politics involved.

    Pros

They consistently urge you to bring more to the table. They get the most out of their employees. Even if you have sub-par customer service skills; in one months time you'll be seasoned.

    Cons

Politics consistently play a role in who is promoted. There is a very "high school" feeling amongst the employers, and you must be very careful in whom you confide with. Aggressive/ Commission-based sales leads to conflict amongst employees(sales are often stolen w/ management doing nothing about the circumstance).
