I have been working at Nordstrom
Pros – Promotions happen very quickly compared with other companies if you are willing to move around the country. Commission environment makes it competitive but also keeps you on your feet and motivated to work. There is face to face interaction every day and every day is different.
Cons – It can become very competitive with sales during slow retail times of the year. You will have to work weekends and rarely ever will be off because weekends are the busiest retail days of the week.
Advice to Senior Management – Management could offer more help when needed and also show employees sales techniques.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
