    Pros

Many opportunities. Good customer service culture. Can be very fun. Good discount periods.

    Cons

Promotions don't always go to the most deserving, but to the most mobile or popular candidates. Store managers can be very political. Not very work/life balanced for those married, especially with children.

    Advice to Management

Measure effort more accurately. Find a way to better compensate 'selling managers'. Have consistent standards for all. Make life more life/work balanced.

    Pros

Your positive and happy attitude can make you more money with a customer. Pleasant working environment.

    Cons

Always short-staffed and over-worked. No steady hours. If you get sick, your rank or "PTR" will drop. PTR 1's will get let go after too long.

    Advice to Management

Even without a manual, there are still rules and these should be written for consistency and support of staff. Rotate schedules - give one person the same schedule for one week and rotate with all emp. in dept. Some predictability helps newbies adjust.
